I had the absolute joy of photographing Linda May Negrete, her husband, and their sweet baby girl for their first-ever family photoshoot…and it was one for the books. We shot at the iconic lavender fields at 123 Farms in Southern California, and the entire session felt like stepping into a sun-soaked dream.

Linda is actually a longtime client of mine through her hair salon, Luxe 22, but this shoot was extra special. We worked together beforehand to curate a soft, carefree vibe-and once we arrived at the beautiful outdoor location, everything came to life. The golden hour light, the expansive lavender fields, and the joy between them created the perfect setting for natural, candid moments.

As a SoCal family photographer, these are the kinds of sessions I love most: real, relaxed, and filled with emotion. We kept it simple-no forced poses, just genuine connection and playfulness. Their little one was the star of the show, and watching them soak in those fleeting baby days together was so heartwarming.
